Whole Wheat Pancakes

Nutritious pancakes with multiple whole grain flours, sweetened with Best4U.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1/4 cup millet flour
  • 1/2 cup barley flour
  • 2 tablespoons flaxseed meal
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon Best4U Erythritol and Stevia sweetener
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 2 1/4 cups milk of choice
  • 3 large egg whites, beaten

Preparation

    In a large bowl, mix all dry ingredients.

    In a separate bowl, mix wet ingredients: oil, milk, and beaten egg whites. Add egg mixture to dry ingredients. Stir just until combined. Let batter rest for 30 minutes in refrigerator.

    Place a baking sheet in the oven and heat to 110°C. Heat a pan over medium heat. Pour about 1/4 cup batter onto pan. Cook until small bubbles form and edges look dry. Flip and cook until golden on the other side. Transfer to baking sheet to keep warm. Repeat with remaining batter.

    To serve, top pancakes with fresh fruit.
